AfterShip Feed and Shipping Solution for Shipping TikTok Shop Orders

Overview


TikTok Shop has made several significant announcements at the beginning of 2026 that could potentially have a noteworthy impact on AfterShip Feed users who use TikTok Shop Seller Shipping to fulfill orders.


Starting February 2026, TikTok Shop will require all US local sellers to fulfill orders either through TikTok Shipping or Fulfilled By TikTok.



Given the magnitude of the potential impact on our users, we have developed solutions to address it. This guide explains who is affected and how they can continue fulfilling TikTok Shop orders smoothly using AfterShip.


Who is impacted?


All merchants using TikTok Seller Shipping are affected. To continue using Seller Shipping, merchants must contact their TikTok Shop account manager.

Option 1: Fulfill orders in TikTok Seller Center


Prerequisites


  • Set up at least one warehouse with updated TikTok Shipping or Collections by TikTok activated.


How it works


  1. Go to TikTok Shop Seller Center > Manage orders
  2. Select the order.
  3. Click Arrange shipment.
  4. Complete fulfillment using TikTok Shipping.
  5. Once a 4PL label is generated in TikTok Shop, Feed will sync the order status back to the e-commerce platform. For Shopify stores, the tracking number will also be synced.



Option 2: Fulfill orders in AfterShip Shipping

To help merchants adapt to this update, AfterShip Feed and AfterShip Shipping work together to support TikTok Shop fulfillment by enabling you to:


  • Continue using AfterShip Feed to sync TikTok Shop orders to your eCommerce platform
  • Print TikTok Shipping labels directly from AfterShip Shipping
  • Automate fulfillment, including updating order statuses on your eCommerce platform; for Shopify stores, Feed also syncs the tracking number.

  1. Install AfterShip Shipping for TikTok Shop
  2. In AfterShip Shipping, go to Carrier accounts and add TikTok Shipping as a carrier.


How it works


  1. Orders that are not yet ready to ship will appear in the Awaiting shipment dashboard with Missing info shown in the Recipient column. This indicates that the order is temporarily on hold and cannot be fulfilled yet.



  1. When the order status changes from On hold to Awaiting shipment, you can proceed with fulfillment. Open the order in AfterShip Shipping, review the shipment details, and create a shipping label using TikTok Shipping.




  1. After the shipping label is successfully created, the order status will automatically update to Shipped, and the tracking number will be attached to the order and synced accordingly.



Guide for connecting multiple sales channels


Beyond TikTok order fulfillment, merchants can connect AfterShip Shipping to multiple sales channels to centralize shipping management across platforms.


⚠️ To prevent duplicate fulfillment, TikTok orders should be processed first before handling orders synced from other platforms.


Prerequisites


  1. Install AfterShip Shipping for both TikTok Shop and the eCommerce platforms you are using to manage shipments across platforms. View the complete supported integration list.
  • If your eCommerce platform is not supported, please reach out to our support team.


  1. In AfterShip Shipping > Carrier accounts, add TikTok Shipping as a carrier account.


How it works


  1. Use Filter by Store to locate TikTok Shop orders and prioritize processing them.


A. On-hold orders will appear in the Awaiting shipment dashboard with Missing info shown in the Recipient column.



B. Once the order status changes from On hold to Awaiting shipment, you can create a shipping label in AfterShip Shipping.


Since AfterShip Feed syncs TikTok Shop orders into your eCommerce platform, duplicate orders may appear in the dashboard. Merchants should use Filter by Store to locate TikTok Shop orders and create labels for those orders.

  • Click More filters, then select TikTok Shop in the Store section.




  • Review the order details and create the shipping label.




  1. After the label is created, the order will appear in the Shipped dashboard.


A. The corresponding order on your eCommerce platform will also be automatically updated to Shipped.



FAQs


1. Can I fulfill e-commerce orders synced by Feed first? How does the data flow work?


No. TikTok orders must be fulfilled using the TikTok Shipping service only. Do not fulfill TikTok Shipping orders synced by Feed through a 3PL, as externally generated labels will not be accepted and may result in unnecessary shipping costs.


2. I’m using another shipping app. What should I do to prepare for this policy?


  1. Check with your current shipping app to see if it supports TikTok Shipping.
  2. If it doesn’t, you can install AfterShip Shipping for TikTok Shop only, allowing you to manage TikTok order fulfillment while keeping your existing workflow for other channels unchanged.
