A Targeted Collaboration in AfterShip Feed is a way to set up collaborations with creators on TikTok by offering commissions on product sales. This feature allows brands to select products, set commission rates, and invite creators to participate in a partnership in a centralized place.
Create a targeted collaboration: Create a collaboration by choosing products and setting commissions for creators.
Invite creators: Brands can invite up to 100 creators to join the collaboration. When an invitation is sent, it appears in the creator’s TikTok app, allowing them to review and accept your collaboration offer.
Product samples: Brands can offer free product samples, which creators can request from the app. Brands can manually or automatically accept requests for free samples.
Shoppable videos: If the creator accepts the request to collaborate, they will produce shoppable content (e.g., videos) featuring your product and earn the negotiated commission.
Orders and commissions: When creators produce shoppable TikTok videos, any subsequent sales will generate commissions, calculated and distributed by TikTok.
Brands can choose up to 10 products.
The brand sets the commission structure.
Creators accept invitations and create shoppable content.
Sample requests from creators can be auto-approved or manually reviewed in the TikTok Shop’s Affiliates Center.
Edits to collaborations must be made in TikTok's Affiliate Center, as updates won’t sync back to AfterShip Feed.
The process of inviting creators to a targeted collaboration follows TikTok’s standard procedure, but there are a few important details to take note of.
You can create targeted collaborations within our system, but any edits to the collaboration must be made directly in the TikTok Affiliate Center.
Any updates made in the TikTok Affiliate Center won't sync back to AfterShip at this time, although this feature will be available in future updates.
Go to Affiliates > Target Collaboration > Create Collaboration.
Before creating the collaboration, we’ll check if your store has TikTok Affiliate access.
If your store does not have access, you will be directed to TikTok Shop to update your access.
If your store has access, you’ll be taken to the targeted collaboration page where you can proceed.

Enter a unique name for the collaboration. This name is for your internal use only and won't be visible to creators.
Set an expiration date for the collaboration. Once the expiration date is reached, creators will no longer be able to accept the invitation or earn commissions from it.
Provide your contact information(email address), so creators can reach out to you if they need more details.
Write a short introduction and explain why you're excited to collaborate with the creators.
Add products to include in the collaboration. You can add up to 10 products to the collaboration. Ensure that the products are in stock.
Creators may request free samples of products included in the collaboration (including product variations).
Auto-approve requests: Automatically approve all sample requests, including for variations.
Manual review: Review each sample request before sending out the samples.
Choose creators to invite to your target collaboration.

You can choose creators from My creators list and Creator's marketplace (creators originally imported from TikTok Shop but not yet added to My Creators list).
You can search creators by name, nickname, or email address.
You can apply available filters to narrow down the selection.
Once creators are selected, click Confirm to add creators to the list.
To remove creators from the Send to list, click the bin button.
To delete all the creators from the list, select all the creators and click Bulk delete.
Note:
You can invite up to 100 creators to collaborate on this targeted campaign.
Both the lists will only display creators with email addresses.
After you create the collaboration in AfterShip, the details will sync with the TikTok Shop Affiliate Center, ensuring consistency across both platforms.
Once the collaboration is created, you can see it listed on the Target collaboration page in AfterShip.
If you want to recreate a similar collaboration, you can Duplicate an existing one. However, note that only the collaboration content (not the creators) will be duplicated, so you can select different creators for the new collaboration.

The following will come into effect starting 10th January, 2025.
AfterShip Feed customers on Starter, Growth, and Enterprise will have access to Affiliates feature for free for 1-month (till 10th February, 2025). After the Free Trial period, Starter plan customers must upgrade to the Growth plan or higher to continue using the Affiliates feature while the Growth and above plans customers can continue using the Affiliates feature without interruption.
AfterShip Feed customers on Free Trial will have access to Affiliates feature for 7-days, post that they need upgrade to the Growth plan or higher to continue using the Affiliates feature.
