How can I change the currency of my AfterShip Feed account?

AfterShip Feed does NOT allow you to manually change the currency for your entire account through a general settings. Instead, it manages currency alignment smartly for product syncing especially between your eCommerce store and TikTok Shop, through two key mechanisms:

1. Choose a matching Shopify market (Shopify merchants only)

If you’re using Shopify, ensure that your TikTok Shop currency matches your Shopify store’s default or Market currency settings. AfterShip Feed checks this during onboarding:

  • It first compares TikTok Shop currency with your Shopify store’s default currency.
  • If no match is found, it then checks against Shopify Market currencies.
  • If a unique match is found in an active market, AfterShip Feed will use that for price mapping automatically.
  • If multiple markets match or no match is found, you’ll need to set up a currency converter instead.

You can also manually select or change the Shopify Market later:

  • Navigate to Channel Settings > Product sync > Shopify market to choose the appropriate one for your TikTok Shop integration.

2. Use currency converter (for all platforms)

For situations where your store currency and TikTok Shop currency don’t match (either due to unsupported Shopify markets or if you’re not using Shopify), you can configure AfterShip Feed’s Currency Converter:

  • Once a mismatch is detected, a Currency converter option appears under your AfterShip Feed settings.
  • Navigate there and set a custom conversion rate (e.g., 0.1 GBP = 1 HKD).
  • Click Save to apply. Prices will automatically be recalculated and synced to your TikTok Shop based on the new rate.
