How to Deactivate Synced Products on TikTok Shop
Overview
When the products are imported from your eCommerce platform to AfterShip Feed and category mapped to your TikTok Shop category, you can sync them to TikTok.
Live status on TikTok
- Once TikTok reviews the products, they will show under the Live tab in the Manage Products section with Live status
- Live status means the products are open to customers for sale
Synced and live products on TikTok will show with the Active status on AfterShip Feed under the Products on TikTok tab and Live (synced and live) under the Imported from {{eCommerce platform}} tab.
Deactivated status on TikTok
- You can deactivate products that are synced to TikTok Shop Seller Center to make them unlive from customer view on your TikTok Shop, meaning they are no more available for sale
- Deactivate does not mean your product is delete from the TikTok Shop Seller Center
- Deactivated products will show under the Deactivated tab in the Manage Products section with Deactivated status
Synced but deactivated products on TikTok Shop Seller Center will show with the Inactive on AfterShip Feed under the Products on TikTok tab and will be greyed out (Synced but unlive) under the Imported from {{eCommerce platform}} tab. Though the product listing will not be deleted from any of the places.
- When the products become inactive/deactivated on TikTok Shop Seller Center, no new changes in product title, description, images, and inventory will be synced back to your eCommerce platform.
Deactivate products on TikTok Shop
- Go to Products > Manage Products > Active tab in the TikTok Shop Seller Center admin
- Click Deactivate to stop the sync and make the product inactive on TikTok shop
You can always reactivate the product if you want by clicking the Activate option. TikTok will again review the products and activate it once the review is done.
